Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 15, 2025

At DynamixFlare, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your information when you interact with our platform and services related to decentralized application development education.

Information We Collect

Personal Information You Provide

When you register for our learning programs or contact us, we collect information you voluntarily share. This includes your name, email address, phone number, and any details you provide in inquiry forms. We ask for this because it helps us tailor the educational experience and respond to your questions.

Technical Information

Our platform automatically collects certain technical data when you visit our website. This includes your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you navigate through our pages. We use this to understand user behavior and improve the site experience.

Learning Activity Data

If you enroll in our programs, we track your progress through course materials, assignment submissions, and participation in collaborative projects. This data helps us personalize your learning path and provide better support.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial account details, health records, or government identification numbers unless specifically required for program verification purposes.

How We Use Your Information

The information we gather serves several practical purposes:

  • Delivering educational content and managing your enrollment in learning programs
  • Communicating with you about course updates, schedule changes, and program announcements
  • Providing technical support and responding to your inquiries
  • Analyzing usage patterns to improve our platform functionality and educational offerings
  • Maintaining security and preventing unauthorized access to our systems
  • Complying with legal obligations under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act

We don't use your data for purposes beyond what's reasonably connected to providing educational services. And we certainly don't sell your information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

Service Providers

We work with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform. This includes hosting services, email communication tools, and analytics providers. These partners can only access your data to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.

Educational Partners

Some of our courses involve collaboration with blockchain technology partners or guest instructors. When relevant to your learning experience, we may share limited information with these partners, but only with your awareness and consent.

Legal Requirements

There are situations where we're legally required to disclose information. This includes responding to valid legal processes, enforcing our terms of service, or protecting the rights and safety of our users and staff. We'll always review such requests carefully before releasing any data.

Third Party Type Purpose Data Shared
Cloud Hosting Provider Platform infrastructure Account data, usage logs
Email Service Course communications Email address, name
Analytics Platform Website improvement Anonymized usage data
Payment Processor Course enrollment fees Transaction details only

Your Rights and Control

Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, you have several important rights regarding your information:

Access and Correction

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time. If you notice something's incorrect or outdated, just let us know and we'll update it promptly. Most account information can be edited directly through your profile settings.

Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information. We'll honor this request unless we're required to retain certain data for legal compliance or legitimate educational record-keeping purposes. Keep in mind that deleting your account will remove access to course materials and progress records.

Communication Preferences

You can opt out of promotional emails anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message. However, we'll still need to send essential communications about programs you're enrolled in, like schedule changes or important announcements.

Data Portability

If you want to take your learning records elsewhere, we can provide your course completion data and submitted work in a commonly used format. This helps you maintain your educational portfolio across different platforms.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information at the bottom of this page. We typically respond to requests within 15 business days, though complex requests might take a bit longer.

Data Security Measures

Protecting your information isn't just a legal requirement for us—it's fundamental to maintaining trust. Here's what we do:

  • All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS 1.3)
  • Access to personal information is restricted to authorized staff who need it for their work
  • Our systems undergo regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • We maintain backup systems to prevent data loss from technical failures
  • Employee training on data protection practices occurs quarterly
  • Multi-factor authentication protects administrative access to systems

That said, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use strong passwords and avoid sharing your login credentials with others. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.

Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes we collected it. Here's what that means in practice:

Active Enrollment Period

While you're enrolled in our programs, we maintain complete records of your learning activity, submissions, and communications. This helps us provide ongoing support and track your progress.

After Program Completion

We retain course completion records and certificates for seven years after you finish a program. This allows us to verify your credentials if you need proof of completion later. Your submitted project work remains accessible for three years, giving you time to retrieve it for portfolio purposes.

Inactive Accounts

If you haven't logged in for two years and haven't completed any courses, we'll send you a reminder before archiving your account. Archived account data is deleted after an additional year unless you reactivate your access.

Legal Requirements

Some records must be kept longer due to Taiwan's accounting and tax regulations. Financial transaction records related to course fees are retained for five years as required by law.

International Data Transfers

Our primary servers are located in Taiwan, where our operations are based. However, some of our service providers operate infrastructure in other regions. When your data moves across borders, we ensure adequate protection through:

  • Contractual clauses requiring equivalent data protection standards
  • Verification that receiving countries have adequate privacy regulations
  • Encryption of data during transfer and at rest
  • Regular audits of international service provider security practices

If you're accessing our platform from outside Taiwan, your data will be transferred here for processing. By using our services, you acknowledge this transfer.

Cookies and Tracking

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to make the platform work properly and understand how people use it.

Essential Cookies

These keep you logged in, remember your language preference, and ensure the platform functions correctly. You can't disable these without losing basic functionality.

Analytics Cookies

These help us understand which course pages are most popular, how long people spend on different sections, and where they encounter problems. This information guides our improvements to the learning experience. You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings.

Managing Cookie Preferences

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Keep in mind that blocking cookies might affect your ability to use certain features of our platform.

Children's Privacy

Our programs are designed for adults and individuals who have reached the age of majority in Taiwan (currently 18 years). We don't knowingly collect information from minors without parental consent.

If you're under 18 and interested in our programs, please have a parent or guardian contact us to discuss enrollment options and appropriate consent procedures.

Changes to This Policy

We review and update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you through email or a prominent notice on our platform.

The "Effective Date" at the top of this page shows when the current version was last updated. We encourage you to review this policy occasionally to stay informed about how we protect your information.

Continuing to use our services after policy changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with changes, you can exercise your right to delete your account and discontinue using our platform.
